I know it has been more than a year now that my dad has been called home. However, it will always seem like yesterday. When I found his picture on google, say a week later from his funeral, I was grateful. I’m sorry I only replied a year later, but better late than never right (*laughs*)? So I give my thanks to the Rhoades for what they have done for us, and I thank God that the Rhoades and the Culkins have become friends many years ago, and are still friends to this day.

Natalie, Rebecca, Ashley, Jessica, Cassandra, Mary, and Elizabeth – I love you. I also pray for blessing on your lives! You made such an impact on our family during a really hard time, and I hope that we can do the same for all of you.

Thank you for being such a positive influence to me at such a young age, and for allowing me to be a part of your lives.

Ken, I will truly miss you.

Our family has been so blessed to have the Culkins as friends for so many years. Ken was so quiet and humble, truly servant-hearted. I remember last year at the fundraising dinner when I was supposed to be hosting a table but had no idea what I was doing. Ken and Natalie were seated at my table and took care of everything without me even noticing when things were running out, like water:) I will always remember Ken’s servant heart and I am so grateful for the times that we have been able to minister beside the Culkin family. They are times that I will always remember. I am praying for love and peace for the Culkins…my friends
