I am not trying to say I am responsible for the Super Bowl pairing, but…

January 25th, 2010

I used to live in Kokomo, Indiana ~ 51.9 miles from Indianapolis.  AND, I used to live in Robert, Louisiana ~ 56.8 miles from New Orleans.  You do the math.

I am not saying that I am DIRECTLY responsible for both of these teams going to the Super Bowl this year or that my influence has in any way made them better teams.  But, you know, I am a common denominator…maybe THE common denominator.

So, enjoy, everyone.  No thanks needed.  My gift.  To you.

Just kidding…sort of.

What does that mean for the final outcome?

Well…I tried to leave a bread-crumb trail hidden in the post (without counting either team out). Clue to my allegience: I am making Gumbo that day. : )

I thought I was on the wrong blog, cause you never talk about football. I guess you needed to put something in for the fans. Then they could get to the good readings. ;)

Okay Sis- It is time to climb to the roof and declare for all time your favorite football team. No hidden messages, besides if a soul has never had gumbo they may not know what that means. Tell the world, God’s favorite team is the Saints! Always has been, always will be! It’s clearly declared in scripture…I think it went something like this: “behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called The Saints!” (Translated- children of God: hagios= holy ones! Saints!) I’ll get that recipe to you soon…this weekend maybe!

“Who Dat!” “Who Dat!” Go Saints!!!!!! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

  6. Who cares about the NFL and the Who Dat controversy. All that matters is that the Saints and the Who Dat Nation are going to the Superbowl baby.

  7. [...] You can read about that here.  Not that I am taking credit for either team making it to the top, but I did live less than an hour away from both Indianapolis and from New Orleans at various times in my life.  I am just saying, I seem to be a common thread for football greatness.  Not the only one, but a common one.
